4 Alcoholics Anonymous
сокр AA"Анонимные алкоголики" (АА)Международная общественная организация, объединяющая желающих излечиться от алкоголизма. Основана в 1935 в США и действует в 115 странах на основе принципов самопомощи и добровольной помощи другим. Форма работы - собрания членов местных организаций (чаще групп из 10-40 человек). Раз в 5 лет проходят международные конференции и ежегодно Конференция общей службы - верховного органа АА. Опекунский совет состоит из 14 членов АА и 7 неалкоголиков. Человек считается членом АА, если сам считает себя таковым. У него нет никаких обязательств. Членство основывается на признании "двенадцати шагов", с помощью которых АА старается помочь своим членам излечиться. Они сводятся к следующим положениям: "Мы признаем свое бессилие и знаем, что сами не сможем излечиться. Мы обсуждаем свое положение с другими. Мы стараемся загладить свою вину перед людьми, которым мы причинили зло. Мы обращаемся с молитвой о помощи к Высшей Силе, как каждый из нас ее понимает. Мы стараемся помогать другим алкоголикам, не щадя сил и не думая о вознаграждении". В США подход АА лежит в основе всех авторитетных курсов лечения от алкоголизма. Средства АА поступают в основном от издания брошюр, книг, буклетов и т.н. "Большой книги" (главного труда, публикуемого регулярно с 1939 года под названием "Анонимные алкоголики").
